Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT also known as 'Tapping' is a wellness technique that is being used in the west for over 40 years now. Developed by Gary Craig in the 1970's, EFT has been helping millions of people around the world achieve mental well-being and a stress free life.
EFT works by tapping on certain meridian points of the body as suggested by Chinese energy healers. It works the same way as 'Acupuncture' using some of the same energy points but without the needles. It is also sometimes referred to as 'Emotional Acupuncture'. When we experience any stressful event, we create certain negative emotions in the body. These negative emotions when not released, causes a built up of negativity and stress. This causes most of our emotional or physical illness.
When we tap on these energy points the energy in the body which is also called as Life force or Chi begins flowing back in its natural rhythm, thus releasing the negative emotions from the body and regaining its natural peaceful state.
